The Power of Fitness
Teresa has played a pivotal role in transforming my overall health. Her thorough understanding of the human body, paired with her expertise in designing effective workouts, has substantially increased my strength and mobility—not just for the present, but as I continue to age. Beyond her fitness knowledge, Teresa is also highly experienced in nutrition and is the author of two healthy cookbooks. Rather than simply providing a workout routine, Teresa has crafted a comprehensive life program tailored to help me stay healthy and mobile as I grow older.
Now in my sixties, I feel stronger and healthier than I did in my thirties. Teresa’s fitness and nutrition plans are not only achievable, but also enjoyable and sustainable. My meal plan is something I truly look forward to, rather than dread. It has changed not only how I eat, but what I want to eat. Unlike previous unsustainable approaches that relied on caloric restriction and omitting my favorite foods, I now love everything I eat and feel better as a result.
Another game-changing technique Teresa introduced is blocking, which has significantly improved my body’s recovery and overall comfort. Since I began blocking, I’ve experienced fewer back problems and noticeable improvements in both pain and mobility. I cannot recommend Teresa highly enough for her extensive expertise and the profound impact she has had on my quality of life.

Why I put knee replacement on hold. Staying strong at 84.
" I’m an 84-year-old recently retired business owner.
For the past 54 years I ran a sailing yacht sales and charter business in Annapolis, Maryland.
The nature of the business kept me reasonably active and on the move.
After retiring, though I stayed busy writing a book about some of those adventures, I found it increasingly difficult to maintain the level of movement and exercise that had once come naturally with a structured schedule.
A friend of mine, Dave, was in a similar situation and had started working with Teresa. He encouraged me to give her a try to bring some structure back into my routine.
It turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made.
I now look forward to my twice-weekly sessions—not only for the exercise, but also for our conversations about health, fitness, and life in general. Seeing Teresa is like opening the door to a breath of fresh spring air.
What’s been most surprising is how quickly the results appeared. I’ve now started doing home workouts, including Teresa’s newly introduced “blocking” exercises, and I can honestly say I no longer feel like I’m shuffling into an aging body. Instead, I’m feeling stronger, more energetic, and genuinely optimistic about staying active in the years ahead.
In fact, I’m feeling so much better that I’ve even put knee replacement surgery on the shelf—for now.
